Dave was a member of Elmgreen Golf Club for a number of years and was one of the most active members of the committee. His enthusiasm and dedication to the Club was legendary. Sadly Dave passed away in August 2009 after an short illness. This Competition takes place every year around this time in Dave’s memory. The Dave O’ Rourke Competition is regarded as one of our Major Competitions in the Golfing year. This is a stroke play Competition, and is included in the Golfer of the year. Lets hope for a great turn out in memory of Dave.
